Small Business of the Year Award Nominating Now Open

Small businesses are a vital part of the economy — comprising nearly 98% of all businesses in New York State and accounting for nearly half of all private sector jobs. The efforts of these organizations greatly enrich our lives and make our community a better place to live, work and do business. To honor the achievements and sacrifices of our local risk-takers, the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce is seeking your input on an outstanding Small Business of the Year. Please help us recognize a deserving small business by filling out the form found here.

Nominating Criteria:

  • Must employ less than 25 people
  • Must be a member in good standing of the Seneca County Chamber
  • Must have been in business for at least two consecutive years
  • Should have realized a significant accomplishment/milestone or contributed to community growth (in the past year)

Nominations will be reviewed by the Chamber’s standing committees with a recommendation to be voted on by the Chamber’s Board of Directors.  The award will be presented at the annual Membership BBQ on July 25th, 2018.
