The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce has awarded Select EuroCars, Inc. of Waterloo as its November 2014 Business of the Month.  Specializing in sales and service of Volkswagen, Audi and many other European as well as American cars, Select EuroCars is located at 685 Waterloo-Geneva Road and is owned by Joel Osserman.

Joel originally began working with Volkswagen and Audi cars in 1980, selling used models out of a barn when he was no busy with schoolwork, while attending courses at Hobart College. At the age of 20 he took his next step in the business when he had the opportunity to grow his clientele after a local Volkswagen dealership closed its doors.  Joel later gained a personal appreciation for the brand in 1985 when he was involved in a fatal car accident and survived being hit by a drunk driver.  After baffling several insurance inspectors and emergency responders who claimed that his safety could be attributed to the VW Rabbit he was driving, the wreck was then saved to observe and further learn from following the accident.
