Scepter New York, Inc Named October Business of the Month

The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce and Hampton Inn Seneca Falls are pleased to announce Scepter New York, Inc. as the Business of the Month for October 2017.
Located in Seneca Falls, Scepter is a secondary aluminum recycling and trading company that employs over 60 local workers. Using state-of-the-art facilities, Scepter specializes in extracting the valuable metal from various scrap materials and dross (the byproduct of a process known as smelting) then recycles it for a variety of future applications such as automotive parts or soda cans.
In 2019 the company will be celebrating their twenty year anniversary – a milestone that the company credits to their highly skilled workforce and its focus on delivering exceptional value to its customers.
“We are proud to have Scepter New York as a member of our Chamber community,” said Membership Development Manager Mackenzie Green. “Their commitment to improving our environment, record of excellence and longevity make them an excellent choice for this award.”
Scepter New York is also involved in the community as key partners with the Seneca County Local Emergency Planning Committee, Red Cross and United Way.

The Business of the Month Award was presented during the Chamber’s October Business After Hours Event held at Abigails Restaurant.
