Glove House Announced as April Business of the Month Award Winner

The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce and Hampton Inn Seneca Falls are pleased to announce Glove House, Inc as the April Business of the Month. Incorporated in 1970, Glove House provides services that include community based group homes, foster family homes, independent living apartments, preventive, mental health and school based services.
The Finger Lakes Regional office opened in 2005 and currently is located on the second floor of the Main Street Shop Center in Waterloo. With a full time staff of fourteen, Glove House is considered to be the premier provider of children and family services in the state, becoming the first child welfare agency to be certified in Sanctuary Model of care which focuses on traumatic events that happened in children and families lives, providing them with the appropriate services to help them heal.
Across New York State, Glove House has a relationship with twenty five counties, with a primary focus on the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier region. Currently the Glove House is expanding its services into Ontario County through a contract to provide family work situations in cases where children are placed outside of the home. In Seneca County, Glove House is providing preventive services to families and children and intensive mental health.
